From school to new adventures!
Play Area’s Afterschool Club brings together music, art, active play and practical life skills in a welcoming space for kids to create, learn and belong.
We pick up your child directly from school and travel together by public transit to Play Area Kelowna. Along the way, children practise pedestrian safety, transit etiquette, awareness of their surroundings, independence and responsibility.
Program details
When: Monday to Friday on regular school days, from school dismissal until approximately 5:30 PM
Where: Play Area Kelowna
Price: $595 per month plus tax
Included: School pick-up, public transit, music and art programming
What kids will do
Children will explore rhythm, sounds and instruments through movement and music. They’ll also experiment with different art materials and techniques, with plenty of room to create and grow.
Good to know
Please pack snacks from home. Snacks are not provided so families can account for their child’s allergies, dietary needs and food sensitivities.
The club does not operate on Pro-D days, early-dismissal days, statutory or school holidays, or school closure days.
Spaces and school pick-up availability are limited.
